Found Objects - Repurposing & Reuse - Green Design

Eleanor Voorhees is starting a new series of Cityscape oil paintings on a collection of various size antique galvanized metal garbage can lids. Each one will be unique and have a beautiful gold leaf edge painted around the rim.
They easily hang and have a floating look.

Eleanor’s new round paintings will add an engaging compositional experience to your home setting. Circular art is used in a home to add comfort, energy, and a natural flowing movement.
Circular shapes look organic and uneven, giving a sense of creativity and unexpected, a thrown together-ness vibe, opposed to the typical measured out and angular, predictable, and planned layout of a room.

If you have too many sharp corners in your home, strict straight lines, and hard edges, you will find that visually softening a room can come from adding a few circular-shaped objects. A round painting is a perfect element for any room and will strengthen your design and create an aesthetically pleasing interior.

The Circle is considered a symbol of unity & infinity, without beginning or end, perfect, the ultimate geometric symbol, it represents the central focus, the protective boundaries, and spiritual energy.
The Circle is a safe, gentle, pleasant, graceful, dreamy, and even beautiful shape that evokes calmness, peacefulness, and relaxation.

Come check out Eleanor’s new series on the other 3rd floor of the People’s Store.
