People's Store Appoints New General Manager


July 2, 2012, Lambertville, NJ – The People’s Store Antiques & Design Center, in Lambertville, NJ announces the appointment of James Castelli as General Manager. James will report to the owner, Opera One Holdings LLC, and be in overall charge of the facility and dealer relations. James will work closely with the merchant’s association team to provide a superior experience for both dealers and customers alike.

Until recently, James served as the director of operations for the Center for Professional Advancement in East Brunswick, NJ, a leading international professional education firm, and will now be able to combine his business background with his passion for design and the antiques business.

James has 20 years experience in the antiques business. In 1993 he established Castelli Collection in Somerville, NJ, which specialized in fine antiques, statuary, architectural elements, and religious artifacts, and catered to interior designers, homeowners, and businesses. He increased sales and his operation dramatically over the next nine years before selling the business in 2001, after which he continued to deal antiques through a variety of venues. James also specializes in interior and landscape design. His latest work involved the complete historical restoration and decor of an 1800’s brick Federal home, including private formal gardens.
