LAMBERTVILLE – Artist Kelly Sullivan’s work caught the eye of set designer Sheila Bock when she was shopping for the set of the new CBS drama “Madame Secretary.”

Sullivan’s studio is on the third floor of The People’s Store, which is an antiques, vintage and hand-crafted co-op on three lower floors, including the basement.

Now nine of Sullivan’s pieces – two originals and seven prints – adorn the walls of “Madame Secretary” Elizabeth McCord’s (Tea Leoni) Washington, D.C. home.

On Oct. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. Sullivan will hold an opening reception for her autumn art show, The River Valley. Among the paintings for sale are three of the originals copied for the prints on the McCord family walls.

Studio hours are noon through 5 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays, or by appointment. Sullivan now lives and works in Lambertville, but was raised in Clinton Township.
